Nano Calderón, an influencer and son of television host Raquel Argandoña, responded with insults to Isidora Gaete, a panelist on the celebrity gossip show Alfombra Roja. She had called him vulgar on the podcast Sin Ofender over his posts about looking for a partner, BioBioChile reported.
It all began when Calderón said on social media that he was using a dating app and had gotten more than 600 matches. According to ADN Radio, this happened during his time in Colombia. He then posted a list of requirements for a potential partner.
"I want someone who looks like a porn actress but goes to Mass and is laid-back. Well, Mass isn't necessary, as long as she hasn't had more than 5 partners," he wrote. In another story, he added: "If I'm with someone more ordinary, I'll cheat on her."
Gaete discussed those remarks on Sin Ofender in a conversation with Dani Ginestar. She questioned both the influencer's demands and the way he shows off his luxuries on social media. "So vulgar, going around taking pictures with banknotes, pictures with asses," she said. ADN Radio reported that she also described him as someone "with extraordinarily bad taste."
Calderón replied in the comments on a post by the Instagram account Todo se Sabe. "Tell her to relax, because even if I were broke, I wouldn't fu… something like that," he wrote.
He then shared a screenshot of that response in his own stories and added another message: "Tell Gollum there's nothing to worry about, because this vulgar guy would never go for her." He thus compared Gaete to the creature from The Lord of the Rings and sarcastically echoed the adjective she had used.
The episode follows a familiar pattern in Chilean celebrity gossip. A panel comments on the life of a social media personality, and an unfiltered response comes from Instagram, amplified by gossip accounts.
At the time this article was finalized, the sources had reported no further response from Isidora Gaete to Calderón's insults.
