Black Friday Chile organizers confirmed that the 2026 edition will begin at 00:00 on Friday, November 27 and end on Monday, November 30. There will be four days of online discounts through the official website, www.blackfriday.cl.

BioBioChile reported the announcement, noting that this will be the event's fourteenth edition in the country. Organizers promise to bring together hundreds of brands and record thousands of transactions in categories such as technology, clothing, sneakers, travel, sports and home goods.

The format resembles CyberDay or CyberMonday. The difference is the timing: falling in late November, it provides an opportunity to shop early for Christmas, New Year and vacations.

This year's new feature targets small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). According to g5noticias.cl, organizers have opened an early call for participants with a package for entrepreneurs priced below $300,000. It includes a presence on the official website and a toolkit, meaning a set of digital tools with event badges and branding elements to use in their campaigns.

"We want to dispel the myth that participating in a platform of this scale is beyond the reach of a small business," said Miguel Leighton and Michel Paris, creators of Black Friday Chile. Both described their own organization as an SME.

Their main selling point is traffic. According to organizers, the platform receives around 500,000 visits per campaign. To put that in perspective, that is roughly the population of a large Santiago municipality visiting the storefront in just a few days.

If you plan to shop, the main advice is to start now. Write down today's price of what you want. That way, when a "40% discount" appears in November, you will know whether the reduction is real or whether the price was raised beforehand and then lowered.

It is also worth making a list of what you need to avoid impulse purchases, and comparing the same product across several stores. A high discount percentage does not guarantee the lowest price on the market.

Price comparison sites can help with that task. Knasta shows which store has the best price and how a product's price has changed over time. SoloTodo specializes in technology, while Descuentoff gathers deals that users themselves share, vote on and discuss.

Brands and entrepreneurs interested in participating can review the requirements and register at www.blackfriday.cl or email [email protected]. The sources do not report a closing date for applications.
