Ricardo Weisselberger, a longtime former Colo Colo official, has died at 77, according to ADN Radio. The station reported that his death was confirmed this Saturday, October 24. So far, no other outlet has confirmed the news, and the source does not specify the cause of death.

Weisselberger served on Colo Colo's leadership team between 1986 and 1989. From 1990 to 1994, he chaired the Football Committee, which oversaw the first team's sporting affairs.

During those years, Colo Colo experienced one of the most successful periods in its history. The club won five First Division championships and four Copa Chile titles during Weisselberger's time at the institution.

Internationally, Colo Colo claimed three titles: the 1991 Copa Libertadores, the Recopa Sudamericana and the Copa Interamericana. To this day, no other Chilean club has won the Libertadores, South America's premier club tournament.

The source includes no reactions from the club or former players from that era.

According to his family, the funeral will take place this Sunday, October 25, starting at 12:30, at the Jewish Cemetery in Conchalí.
