Starlink brinda acceso a internet satelital en varios modelos de celulares gracias a una colaboración con T-Mobile. Esta tecnología permite que celulares como iPhone, Google Pixel, Motorola y Samsung se conecten directamente a la red satelital, sin requerir antenas externas, lo que facilita el uso de internet en áreas rurales, remotas o sin cobertura convencional.
El servicio actualmente está disponible en todo el territorio continental de Estados Unidos, así como en Puerto Rico y partes del sur de Alaska. Si no eres cliente, puedes activar una eSIM compatible. Cuando estés en un área sin señal móvil o roaming, tu dispositivo con soporte satelital se conectará automáticamente a la red T-Satellite.
No es posible seleccionar manualmente esta red si hay cobertura celular convencional disponible. Al conectarse, en la pantalla aparecerá la leyenda “T-Mobile SpaceX” o “T-Sat+Starlink” en la parte superior izquierda.
Debes considerar que los mensajes pueden tardar un poco más en enviarse o recibirse según la cobertura y las condiciones de conexión. Dado que los satélites están en movimiento, tu teléfono irá cambiando de uno a otro automáticamente, pero los mensajes se enviarán tan pronto haya señal.
